ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - AWCI Insurance Services
General Requirements
- Contractor must be a member of AWCI.
- Contractor must not subcontract more than twenty percent of their work
- Contractor must have a payroll of at least $50,000.
- Contractor must have less than a fifty percent loss ratio for two out of the last three years.
- Contractor must have at least two years of management experience.
- Contractor must have less than four losses in the prior three years.
- Contractor must have a formal safety program in place.
For Contractors Who Want EIFS Coverage
- Contractor must have completed the EIFS educational program provided by AWCI and be recognized as an EIFSmart contractor.
- Supplier/Distributor must have one person who has completed the EIFS educational program provided by AWCI and have a Certified EIFS Inspector (CEI) or a Certified EIFS Professional (CEP) education certificate.

- Exterior Plastering—EIFS and Stucco
- Interior Plastering
- Building Material Dealers (Wall and Ceiling Products Only)
- Ceiling and Wall Installation-Metal
- Drywall Framing and Installation
- Electrical Work Within Buildings
- Fireproofing
- Carpentry-Interior/Not Otherwise Classified
- Floor Covering Installation Excluding Tile or Stone
- Insulation Work with Organic/Plastic Solid State, Mineral
- Masonry Work
- Painting-Interior
- Paperhanging
- Tile, Stone, Marble, Mosaic or Terrazzo Work-Interior Construction
- Other exposures may be written on an incidental basis subject to the Company's approval. Incidental is defined as up to 10 percent of the overall exposure base.
